I know how to set it and did...I just can’t for the life of me remember what I made it...And the email thing doesn’t work because it was an auto-installation.
And OpenGeek, I’m surprised you didn’t know your own project was running through another service!

I don’t see what the method of installation has to do with it. Unless it’s a crippled installation, of course. Anyway, you’ll need to get into your database and deal with it, per the link Jason mentioned.

What in the world is SimpleScripts?

Note my last (prophetic?, I hope not) post in that thread and the date.
AFAIK, We still have no idea where that script came from.

For those that are curious, Simplescripts is a web based "competitor" to Fantastico. We’re testing it at Collabpad and are impressed with the results. It was created by one of the developers/admins at http://www.hostmonster.com/, and our early tests are pretty interesting. Some tweaks needed but it works really well at least on their servers.
Bluehost.com has SimpleScripts (and Fantastico De Luxe -- whatever that is) and offers MODX 9.6.1.
I think SimpleScripts will kick Fantastico’s butt unless F. makes some serious changes.
As I understand it (and I could be wrong), the SS link on a hosting site is just a gateway to the SS site where both the scripts and the files reside in a single master archive. This means developers can just update the files at SS and forget about propagation. Fantastico, OTOH, requires duplicate copies (possibly corrupt) on every host and the updates have to be uploaded to every host before they can be used to update the user’s installation. User’s have to bug the host to update the local Fantastico repository over and over at every host.
