Can I create a group/user and set it so that they can only upload images when using the FCK editor in a specifc folder, so they can’t touch other image folders?

Each user can have a customized path setting, but I’m not sure if this applies to the rich text editor as well as the Manager’s file manager.
You can set custom Resource Path and File Manager path for each user. The resource path is the one that controls the Resource Browser. Both these settings can be configured in the individual users settings.
