You might be on to something here. I've never used this before, but here's what I see when I just load the page.

    GET https://www.hostmonster.com/~johnsor1/~johnsor1/~johnsor1/~johnsor1/~johnso…hnsor1/~johnsor1/~johnsor1/~johnsor1/~johnsor1/~johnsor1/favicon-16x16.png net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

I don't know what that means.

The site is still using the temporary url until we point the domain to this host.

The .htaccess contains only the default from the host:

    # Use PHP5.4 as default
    AddHandler application/x-httpd-php54 .php

Does the url change between the submits?

Do you have a base tag in the template?

        Yes, here's the base ref: <base href="http://74.220.215.229/~johnsor1/">

The URL doesn't change between submits.

        http://74.220.215.229/~johnsor1/index.php?id=12

I can give you a login if you want to poke around.

        Thanks!

Well I've determined the too many redirects error was due to a path problem for a favicon. It's been corrected, but for still requires two submits.

I did not have the two tries submit issue with an actual chrome and firefox installation on my computer during my tests at the URL above.

So maybe it is a proxy issue in your or your provider network. It could also be an autofill or a caching issue of your browser. Or a session problem …

              Ah you've nailed it!

If I disable autofill in Chrome it submits correctly the first time.

Thank you so much, I would never have tried that.

              Thank you.

Glad that it is solved. Think that 'workemail' is filled by autofill in your Chrome.

You have to use some other antispam solution in my opinion.

You're right. That's the culprit. If I change the name of that field and enable autofil. It submits the first time.
