https://letsencrypt.org is a new SSL Certificate Authority who is issuing free SSL certificates to help the web move to https.

Be great if modxcloud.com could be letsencrypt ready when the service launches mid-2015 -- has anyone had a look at what is involved?

The benefit is that all modxcloud hosted web sites could become https sites for free

CloudFlare also offers free universal SSL, though the let's encrypt initiave definitely has my attention too wink

I've been following the Let's Encrypt initiative and I'll definitely be spending some cycles into, at the very least, reviewing it. I'll bring it up on Monday.
