    Hi,
Is there an extra that allows usermanagement?
If i give my editors acces to the 'users' button in the top menu they can manage EVERY user including admins.
So i want to be able to define which users (usergroups) a member of a specific usergroup (editors) can edit .

    is there a way?

No. User management is not at all granular. You would need to use a plugin to control what groups and their users the current user could access. You would probably be better off creating a CMP, perhaps using MIGXdb, and giving your editors access to the CMP with a new main menu item rather than the Users menu item.

Easier still, create a front-end user management snippet for them. Provide a new menu item to access it easily from the Manager, or just put a link in a Dashboard widget.

Would ClientConfig be something that would handle this?

              Hi Bruno,
I always find MIGX delightful and intimidating. I know it can do a lot. but i find it complex
So i'll muster up some courage and try MIGXdb smiley

Periodically, I think about creating a granular, front-end user management system (like NewsPublisher, but for users) but I never seem to get around to it.

Part of the problem is that people have very different needs and it would be difficult to accommodate all of them. Another issue is how to make such a system secure. Yet another consideration is the likelihood that MODX 3 will have this built in.

If you want to digg into it, here is one example with some custom processors.
                  https://github.com/Bruno17/migxclientmanager
For create/update the MODX - user/create and update - processors are called internally.

You would create your own package - folder and put everything there.
I can upload another example to github, which fits a bit more your needs.
Only, if you are really interested.
