I've been reading through the formit2db thread here: https://forums.modx.com/thread/?thread=32560&page= and I'm wondering if the Email hook is necessary. I have my custom database working and am able to insert records with xPDO, etc. I was considering using Formit2db for some other needs. I notice in the example it's calling the email hook, is this necessary? I don't really need the form to email I just need it to insert files in the database.
