I'm trying to upgrade Gallery on one of my sites (ModX v. 2.3.2). The installer keeps hanging up at "attempting to preserve files at /path/to/old/gallery/images into archive /path/to/archive".
There are a lot of gallery photos on this site, but I've waited a half-hour, and the installer isn't progressing. I've tried this a few times, and checked in the /path/to/archive folder, and the zip files created there are between 560 and 650 MB, and seem to be incomplete (names ending in preserve.zip.~jumble of letters~).
Is it possible there are too many images to transfer here? Do I need to tweak my PHP settings? Is there some other way around this problem?
