Local to remote migration: Where is 'manager/includes/config.inc.php' ?

I think we're getting there.
It seems the Manager is functioning more like it should.
Everything now shows…
including the 'Files/Filesystem' branch folders...
However the 'files' inside those folders are still missing
(please see attachment)
Do I need to do anything with 'manager/.htaccess'?
(it currently shows 'RewriteEngine Off').
Incidentally, if I leave 'Update Media Source/basePath & baseUrl'
values empty I see nothing in the 'Files' branch.
The Error Log is empty.

Believe me, I've been researching this all weekend and have
tried all combos of suggested remedies!
(ok, obviously not all!) B-)

Latest: I've just run Everett Griffiths' diagnostic script and I get this…

/home/myDomain/public_html/site_name/connectors/browser folder does not exist!
/home/myDomain/public_html/site_name/connectors/context folder does not exist!
/home/myDomain/public_html/site_name/connectors/element folder does not exist!
/home/myDomain/public_html/site_name/connectors/layout folder does not exist!
/home/myDomain/public_html/site_name/connectors/resource folder does not exist!
/home/myDomain/public_html/site_name/connectors/source folder does not exist!
/home/myDomain/public_html/site_name/connectors/workspace folder does not exist!

I think as a newbie, my methods were woolly in their execution;
resulting in issues with multiple table prefixes and the like so I felt it best to cut loose and start over.
I have now rebuilt the site from scratch which didn't take as long as I'd imagined.
The extra practice in the MODX site building methods has been a very good thing.
That said, I found the guidance you folks gave me both helpful and informative.
So sincere thanks to you both for your time.
