    Is there a WYSIWYG front end text editor available for MODX;

    Where I can edit template variables, in the browser, similar to front-end editing of articles in joomla?

    I looked at NewsPublisher, but it's not really what I need, because it just creates a single "edit" button that when clicked goes to a new screen to create a new resource. I don't need a new resource, just the ability to edit already defined template variables.

    Does anyone know of a better solution?

      If you set it up correctly, the NewsPublisher Edit button should take you to the NewsPublisher page with the current resource set up for editing (change ## to the ID of the NewsPublisher page) .

      Try this on a page:

      [[!NpEditThisButton? &np_id=`##`]]

      If the edit button tag is in a Tpl chunk, you need to do it this way:

      [[!NpEditThisButton? &np_id=`##` &np_edit_id=`[[+id`]] ]]
