I am using three sligthly changed templates on my webiste (it is one template assigned as default copied two more times with changed sidebar in html). I assigned few pages to the default templates, few to second tpl and few to third tpl. I have problem with QuickEdit on this copied templates (2nd and 3rd) : styles and headings doesn’t show up to choose. Also there is an issue with [*loginName*] TV, wchich i put on website as link to login page - the link ’login’ doesn’t appear on those duplicated templates. I have only one folder for my default template on my server. Do I have to create separate foders for each tempalte and copy images folder and styles? Or what I am doing wrong? Or maybe Is there any other way to put different sidebars without using duplicated templates into different pages?
    thanks in advance.

To start, each TV you have needs to be allowed to be seen in the new templates, go and edit each TV and scroll down and check the new template boxes.

Each TV on the template can be modified on a per page basis, you set the default content when the TV is created and that will show, then edit the document and change the appropriate TV content.

Thanks for this, I’ve missed this option in TV before... Now it works smiley

Could you explain more clearly the second part of your reply? I don’t actually get it how to use TV istead of couple of templates... Where I can specify which TV should be used on specific page?

If you assign a TV to a template then that TV appears below the Content area inside the Manager for any pages using that template.
You can then put anything you want in that TV on a per page basis, just as you would for the main content.
If you leave the TV empty, nothing will be added to the page.
