    Description of Problem:
Hi all. I've been developing my site in a subfolder (domain.com/dev), and I just recently moved the site to the root directory for the public to use. I moved the files, updated the paths in the config.inc.php and other relevant files, and went through the setup again. The front-end of the site now works perfectly on the root domain, but I'm having trouble logging into my Manager section.

When I enter my details and try and login, the login page just reloads as if nothing happened. I've since reset my password and I'm still unable to log in, but this time it's telling me my username or password is incorrect.

Does anyone know what the issue is or how to resolve it?

    Thanks,
    Brendan

Did you check for corrects paths in:
      - manager/config.core.php
      - connectors/config.core.php
      - core/config/config.inc.php
      - config.core.php
      - htaccess
      - database table modx_workspaces
      - search in database for "/dev"

And check if these folders are having the corrent write settings:

      - cache folder
      - core/components
      - core/packages
      - core/import
      - core/export
      - assets
      - assets/components
      - assets/components/phpthumbof/cache

Also check your apache error log. When you get a "php fatal error call to...", remove the cache folder and recreate. Also empty your browser cache/cookies.

Hi Michelle, thanks for your response. I followed your instructions and was still having the same problem. After spending hours looking for other solutions, I went through your instructions again and noticed that the base path in config.inc.php was still pointing to the /dev/ subfolder (doh). Thanks for the help!
