Hi
Our domain name is Canyonheightschurch.ca
This was created with MODx CMS.
When we transferred it to some other host , It doesn’t showing the site. It showing some errors.
Attaching the screen shots.
Our new host is drupalvuluehosting.com
I have tired with changing the ht.access file also.
What may be the problem. Is it any configuration issue or some other problem like hosting server supporting modx etc.
Please help ASAP
Thanks & Regards

That’s a .htaccesss (not ht.access) problem. Does the site work with friendly URLS turned off, and the .htaccess file removed?
HI
Actually what happened is that... our client purchase another host. ( drupalvaluehosting ) . It supports cpanel.
So we moved our modx files ( assets, manager, index.php, index_ajax.php ) to the new host’s public_html folder. And I have backup the db and restored it in the new host. The new db which I created is "chcwsite_canyonheights" and I changed the values in manager/includes/config.ini.php file as
$database_type = ’mysql’;
$database_server = ’localhost’;
$database_user = ’chcwsite_comeleo’;
$database_password = ’pwdcomeleon’;
$database_connection_charset = ’’;
$dbase = ’chcwsite_canyonheights’;
But now I try to open the page, another connection parse error is showing. Attached its screen shot.
Also, I have tried to upgrade the installation by run the install file. But when try to install, it couldn’t connect to host.
The public_html folder already contains one file named .htaccess and I have tried by rename it and remove it. But the same error is appearing.
Do you have any idea regarding this ? pls visit site : canyonheightschurch.ca/index.php
Pls help, because our site is down for last one week
Thanks & Regards

It appears that your database settings are wrong. Possibly the username or password is wrong in your config.inc.php file or maybe you haven’t actually added that user to the new modx database.
Look at the database in cPanel and double check the database name, username, and the user’s rights to the database.
