shopping cart without the checkout

Hi guys,

I need some kind of shopping cart but without the checkout part. Maybe someone can give me some direction

Basically when you click checkout an email gets sent to the client and he is responsible for the order. I guess that a client has to be logged in as a web user or something to see the prices.
I still want to have the possibility to later upgrade to full shopping cart.

build it yourself mate. Your not going to get a cart off the shelf that does not have a checkout!! Its like buying a car without wheels

I would also be interested in a generic shopping cart where checkout/payment modules can be developed and added as needed, such as email/invoice, PayPal, Google, etc.

That’s the plan. A small snippet with session variables should do the trick. But not if I have a choice.
