    Sorry Guys, new to Modx.
After installation of formit extra and making all forms to work Ive noticed there is a dropdown with the options below.
Unfortunately no of the submitted forms are showing. Do I need any extra configuration or extra plugin to make it work?

At the plugin page (http://modx.com/extras/package/formit) says it has those options, but cant see any other documentation about it
"- Submitted forms can be automatically saved and encrypted in the Formit component
    - Submitted forms can be exported to CSV, based on filters"

If anybody knows how to config formit to save all to the screen below please help out wink

    thanks a lot

      Hey aiteampl,

No need to apologise for being new!

The folks behind FormIt have been apologetic that their docs aren't yet up with the latest update. They're slammed with deadlines at the moment.

To get form results saving, add 'FormItSaveForm' to your FormIt 'hooks' parameter.

So, should look something like this:
      [[!FormIt? &hooks=`spam,FormItSaveForm,email`]]

So jcdm, does that mean you no longer need the additional formit2db snippet in 2.2.5? Just checking...

On the surface, FormIt2db appears to provide a bunch more control over where and how things are saved and also provides a 'sister' function to load content into a form (db2FormIt).

I hadn't used those functions but had been using FormSave which just does what this does - gets it into the database with minimal control. But then it's in the database when you need it.

But yeah - if you just the results saved somewhere rather that somewhere specific, this will do the job now. If you find you want more control over what it's doing, it's worth visiting FormIt2db again.

Got it. Thanks. I do like the extra control of Formit2db so I think I'll stick with it.

                Glad to help!

I found your question while looking for the answer myself so I figured I'd sort it for the both of us! I'd been using an extra that gave me just this much functionality so I'm always happy to use one less extra!

In the near future you'll hopefully be able to find answers like these in the updated docs with a little less trouble.

                Welcome to MODX!
