Use a domain not-through MODX while sharing server with MODX websites

Hi, I used the guide here:

to host multiple websites using the same MODX manager on one web server. My server CPU is now overloaded and I can not use MODX anymore because it just crashes or doesn't load right, and I want to add just a regular hard-coded website without MODX at all (I suggest that you NEVER buy a server with WebHostingPad if expecting to use MODX)

But when I go to the website, the domain changes to MyNewWebsite.MyPrimaryWebsite.com or doesn't load correctly. Does anyone know how i could fix this? So my new website is just its own separate website, not associated with my main website or with MODX? Thanks

Do you own the MyNewWebSite domain name? If so, you should be able to point it at MyNewWebsite.MyPrimaryWebsite.com and set it up on your host as a separate domain.

Yes I own both domain names.

If you want to check it for yourself, my new website is lumbernatural.com, which redirects to myoriginalwebsite.com/lumbernatural.com.

I know how to make it work if I was to host it using MODX (just following the directions in the link on my first post) but again I can't use MODX on my server so I want to just host it hard-coded.

Try commenting out the friendly URLs section in the .htaccess file in the root of the non-modx directory.
