Hello all. Today is my first day working with MODx and I get a task to switch our website from desktop to mobile one and change the current layout to the custom mobile template.
I have created a custom mobile template which is very similar to our desktop version, but the client wanted custom template, so I created one with simple HTML/CSS and jQuery Mobile. Very simple.
Now I came to the point where I need to get data from that desktop website (which is currently running) and just place it to my mobile template. So I thought (from my experience with WordPress) that I need to change website from desktop version to mobile one (with m.websitename.com subdomain).
The questions is, basically, how can I achieve this result? I want some kind of device detection (maybe this plug-in -
http://modx.com/extras/package/mobiletemplateswitcher ?) and according to the device user is going to use, redirect / use mobile template, if he / she is using mobile phone.
