I have a funny little problem: I can't get into my site. It's running MODX Revolution 2.3.3 and whenever I try to login to the manager with the
correct username and password, I get the error message that either one of them is wrong ("
The username or password you entered is incorrect. Please check the username, re-type the password, and try again.").
I used copy&paste for the password, so I know it's correct. And the username is only three characters, I think I hit those keys correctly, too.
Even though, I followed the advice on
this page to reset my password. The API script executed successfully (at least it said so) but it did not change anything. I still can't login.
I googled the problem but could not find anything really helpful. I only came across
this test script. But it says that there's nothing wrong with my config.
In case this is relevant: The site is hidden behind a .htaccess protected area. It was running an older version of MODX before (2.2.14, I think). I upgraded it recently to 2.3.3. But I was able to log in after that at least twice (probably more, I didn't count it).
Any suggestion as to how I can get back into my own website? I'd really like to get back into my site.
