Answered Get URL parameters

    Hi
    Stuck ... I simply cannot get the URL parameters from a page!

    I've added the getUrlParam package.

    This chunk:
    <ul class="button-group">
    <li><a href="[[~4? &typez=`lies`]]" class="small button">Lies</a></li>
    <li><a href="[[~4? &typez=`truth`]]" class="small button">Truth</a></li>
    <li><a href="[[~4? &typez=`verses`]]" class="small button">Verses</a></li>
    </ul>

    ... links to this resource:
    [[!getUrlParam? &name=`typez`]]

    <!-- nothing is displayed -->

    I've tried it with friendly URLs on and off.

    MODX newb seeks assistance!

      Never used the getUrlParam Extra but if it helps fastField can do what you need:

      [[!#get.typez]]

      It global arrays including $_GET, $_POST, $_REQUEST, $_SERVER, $_FILES, $_COOKIE and $_SESSION are supported.

      Also fields from MODX Resources such as pagetitle, content, and TVs.
