    Hi, folks!

Ok, so I have this really weird issue: I`m editing my chunk, it does save changes to db (I`ve checked it in phpMyAdmin), everything`s ok... After I reload the front end page, there are no changes, I`m switching back to chunk edit tab, reloading the page and voila, the changes has gone! So it somehow reverts changes to db after going to front end. I`ve tried clearing cache, deleting cache folders, reloading permissions, repairing tables etc. How come it reverts changes made to db, if it`s supposed to load info from it? I`ve also tried to edit the chunk directly from phpMyAdmin (without being logged-in to admin section) and it still saves changes to table and reverts it after front end load.

    I`m on MODX Revolution 2.3.2-pl.

It looks like you have two chunks named 'sub_items'.

If you can't see them both in the Elements tree, you should be able to find them in the modx_site_htmlsnippets table in the database with PhpMyAdmin.

Yes, that`s exactly what I did! But there is no 'sub_items' duplicate. Somehow, loading the front end triggers some module that rewrites the chunk. Btw, there is another (new) group of chunks that`s working perfectly!

That`s funny, I`ve renamed old chunk to 'sub_items_old', made a new one named 'sub_items' in new chunks group, reloaded front end and guess what? It has been rewritten to the old one!

Sounds like you may have a plugin or snippet (more likely a plugin) that knows them by ID and is changing the content. Are you running VersionX or StageCoach by any chance?

100% it`s not ID, but name, cause after recreating the chunk, it`s ID have changed. Anyway, here is the list of plugins:

does it recreate the chunk visiting any page or just specific pages.

You can try creating a resource with a blank template and visit that resource (set site to offline, while trying, so you can be sure, not another page is visited by any user)

Does it recreate the chunk, also when you visit this empty page?

you can buy me a beer, if you like MIGX

I haven`t tested all the pages, but 3-4 of them, as well as empty test page with blank template, did reacreate the chunk.
