    I have created a new home page for one of my sites, which has a news-like layout of 8 separate content areas relating to different content on the site.

    To make it really easy and intuitive for the content editors, I have created a TV with a rich text editor for each of these 8 content areas, and it looks really great for the editors.

    However, I am not using [*content*] on this document/template (this document has its own template) anymore, and thus MODx manager’s default "Document content" rich text area is not necessary for this document; it is just too big and in the way.

    How can I remove the [*content*] rich text area, in the Manager, for this document only?

    Also, is there a way to define the height, as displayed in the manager, of particular rich text instances?

    eg: the eight rich text editors I have added here for each section only need to be about 200px high, but the default height is much higher, making it a much longer page in the Manager than it needs to be.

    I guess I have to get my hands dirty in the manager configuration files?

        Actually, I did it now using ManagerManager:

         mm_hideFields('content', $content, '15');

        This hides the content area, for all my content editors ( $content ), on all documents with a template ID of 15 - lucky, this document has a unique template not shared by other docs.
