How to redirect old non-modx site pages to new pages

Hi all,

I am having trouble redirecting the old website pages to the new ModX site pages. I tried ...

(1)in the .htaccess

RewriteRule ^marina/guides/$ http://www.fontanavillage.com/lake-cruises-and-hikes.html [R=301,L]

(2) in Redirector (see screenshot attachment) this worked for the first one "^marina\/guides\/$" but the second one "^history\/$" is redirected to "lake-cruises-and-hikes.html" instead of "overview.html".

Can someone tell me how to do this?

Ah,

the joys of htaccess rewrite rules.

I had similar grief a while back.

Could never get Redirector to work, so I ended up hardcoding them into the htaccess file.

Thanks Mark,

But I found out what the problems were. It was two problems, that is what made it difficult. One the Friendly URL setting were not exactly right. And two there was a space in one of the URLs I was rewriting.

This stuff can drive you bonkers.

So consider this thread closed.
