Answered migxdb dbfilter list from tv form CMP

    Is it possible to display a migxdb CMP db-filter dropdown list generated from a tv?

    At the moment my list is generated from existing values from the category field in my custom db. The issue is that some items are in two separate categories creating a list entry that looks like this: category1||category2.

    I would prefer to control list items, it doesn't have to be through a tv.

    setup:
    MODX Revolution 2.3.3
    migx-2.9.0

      you just need a custom getcombo - processor in your package's processors - path, where you can fill the listbox items.

      components/yourpackage/processors/mgr/default/yourgetcombo.php

      and put the name 'yourgetcombo.php' to the configuration of the db-filter.

        Following your instructions above and using "getTVcombo.php" found here: https://github.com/Bruno17/migxchildresources/tree/master/core/components/migxchildresources/processors/mgr/default, it's now working. It's also worth noting that you have to include the tv name into the "getcombo textfield" field.
