Answered Ad Hoc Reports

    Hi there,

I'm hoping someone can help point me in the right direction. I'm looking for documentation on how to create ad hoc custom reports in modx. I've worked on sites in the past where we were able to run reports based on user activity, resources, date and times and export it as a csv. I'm now working with a new team and wanted to share this documentation, but I haven't been able to find any sort of reference to anything like this and it's making me feel crazy lol.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know anything that will do this out of the box for MODX. I think you'd need custom snippets. You might also need some custom plugins if MODX isn't already recording the data for you.

Thanks, that explains why I haven't been able to find any documentation!
