Hello. My question is basically where you store the static element files if you use any (in production). Would you rather not use static files in production? I usually set up a media source pointing into ../development/elements/ (where my structure is : /var/www/development/). Then i create all static files in there. Most of the time, when going into production i just make everything NOT static to keep it into the database. But i was wondering if there are any pros or cons according to you (speed,security) to keep some static files referenced into either the dev directory or into maybe "/var/www/public/assets/theme/elements..."
What's the recommended way of doing things?
