So we can do things like this to show information about the current user in chunks & resources:
[[+modx.user.id]] [[+modx.user.username]]
Great, but what about profile fields?
[[+modx.profile.fullname]] [[+modx.user.profile.fullname]]
neither of these work BTW - just guessing because if they are available, they don't appear to be documented.
can we get user profile fields in resources & chunks? [without writing a snippet]

[[+modx.user.id:userinfo=`fieldname`]]
It's at the end of the
Output Modifiers documentation.
You can even access top-level extended fields using dot notation like this:
[[+modx.user.id:userinfo=`extended.name`]]
I'm not sure if there is any way to use this method for displaying nested extended values.

Thanks Susan, I figured there must be some way other than dumping the entire profile to placeholders.
