So my site has a number of issues that started today -

I can login to the admin panel, but cannot navigate from there. The index of my site loads perfectly, but other pages lead to 404 errors. At around 9am today I purchased the paid support from this site, and was given an estimated 2 hour ETA after paying. I haven't heard anything, and no one there has answered the phone or returned my calls.

I am looking for someone who can fix my site. In an ideal world, my existing content would be moved to an up-to-date modx install (I'm running MODX Revolution 2.2.4-pl, with only the 'redirector' component installed). The site was running perfectly until today, when I upgraded PHP and something broke. I have tried restoring a backup to the old server running the version of PHP I upgraded from with no luck fixing any of my issues. I need this fixed ASAP, and I am willing to pay for a solution from someone with modx experience who can do it this afternoon.

Are any experienced members interested? Or can someone point me to where I can get this resolved? Thanks a million!

First, try manually deleting all files in the core/cache directory. A corrupted cache file is the most common cause of sites suddenly not working, especially in the early 2.x versions.

It's also possible that your version of Redirector doesn't work with newer PHP versions. Try disabling it.

Sorry I should have pointed out in my original post - this was the first step I tried before contacting support here.

I have tried reverting back to an old server, running the same version of PHP as this site was before the upgrade with no luck.

I'm not sure how to disable redirector without the admin panel?

You can also disable it in the database. If you have access to PHPMyAdmin, look for the modx_site_plugins table in your MODX database and in it, there should be a plugin named Redirector. Just set the disabled field to 1. You'll then need to clear your browser's cache and manually empty your MODX cache.

                I'm glad it worked.

Me too! Thank you so much!

Fairly disappointing that at $250 per hour the paid support cannot get back to me after 7 hours, but I appreciate the helpfulness of the forums.
