phpThumb Error

Hi together,

I've got a problem with phpthumb in Modx 2.3. In the Manager view of the Gallery plugin I get some images with error alerts.

When I reload the page again and again, every time a few more images are dispalyed correctly. But they all look a bit strange, they are too big for the bordered "placeholder".

I tried to enable the debug messages in phpthumb.class.php ($config_disable_debug = false), but when I enable it, the images are just blank...

Can you tell us more about your hosting environment? It almost sounds like the server is preventing thumbnail generation for all images at once - perhaps due to resource restrictions.

I've reviewed your phpinfo output, and everything looks to be usable. That beings said the lack of imagemagick and 1&1 track record would strongly indicate you are hitting hard resource limit(s). You might try contacting their support for confirmation, or alternatively try the site on another server. If the issue persists with another host it's likely an issue with MODX/Gallery, however if it works properly it's your host.

If you want to try the site on another server I can provide you some space to test things.
