Answered Ditto a la GetResources?

    I have a "player spotlight" section on my sports related website home page. Currently the players are children of different teams containers. I have created a spotlight TV that is a radio button for the player template that can be turned on or off.

    Now, I'm looking for the best way to pull out the players that have been spotlighted? Should I do this with Ditto? I believe in Revo that GetRources handles this?

    Another thought I had was creating a multi select list TV for the home page that pulls in all players and allows manager users to select which player to spotlight.

    Has anyone solved this before?

      Both solutions works.

      With Ditto you can use a filter 

      [!Ditto? &parents=`2,4,6` &filter=`spotlight,yes` &tpl=`news-tpl`!]

          you don't need to change the parent, when you add a new "Team Folder"

          just set the "root" as parent (&parents=`0` ) and the &depth parameter

          [!Ditto? &parents=`0` &depth=`4` &filter=`spotlight,yes` &tpl=`news-tpl`!]
