Article tags separator

Hi

I'm using Articles as a key part of my website and would like to have some control over the URL's that are generated by the tags. For example, if I tag an article with 'Lorem Ipsum Dolor', I end up with a tag url that looks something similar to this: 'Lorem+Ipsum+Dolor'. Some of my tags will result in more than one word and I'd prefer for any whitespace to be separated with a hyphen. Is there anyway that this can be achieved cleanly without any significant code changes?
