I just did a search for the phrase "Template Variable" and no results were returned. How is it possible that there would be no forum posts related to Template Variables.

      mmcgee,

The forum search is really not working well, currently. At this time, I'd recommend doing the following in google search: 'site:forums.modx.com template variables" without the quotes.

We really need to get to another search engine, currently we have a barely configured version of Solr and we should really move to some form of Elastic search with good configs.
