    Hi All,

how can i make sure all traffic to HTTPS will be redirected to HTTP?
so a request for https://www.mydomain.com/folder/mypage.html will be redirected to http://www.mydomain.com/folder/mypage.html

This would need to be done via redirect, this has nothing to do with MODX per se. It would have to be either in your nginx or apache configs. Here's an answer on StackOverflow: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8371/how-do-you-redirect-https-to-http
