Answered Sort Order for Template Variables

I don't have a cloud account, but am working online now with my site. I can give it a try. Question is though, do I need to run all of my already created TVs through it, or just the ones that I want to use to build my landing page with? (photo, price, neighborhood, etc. ). I'll go review the process more in-depth and see if I'm up to the task.

Got it installed. Reviewing the documentation now.

I don't know Bob. I have more questions than there could possibly be answers for, which is probably not a good sign. Might have to proceed with what I'm capable of currently doing, and then revisit classExtender. [ed. note: mmcgee last edited this post 11 years, 7 months ago.]

Just wanted to say thanks for the advice. I appreciate your suggestions, and I certainly want to revisit the classExtender. I have it loaded, so can work with it more in the future. In the meantime, I was able to accomplish my goals for the day. TVs are ordered nicely in the manager, and getResources seems to be a good match at the moment.

BTW, pdoResources is almost exactly like getResources, but much faster.

I've already been using pdoSitemap and pdoMenu.

Thanks for tip about pdoResources. I swapped it in, and only one of my TVs loaded. I'll go read doc on pdo. Perhaps only a slight modification is needed.



For getResources to load any of the TVs that I created, I had to insert tv. before the name, as in tv.my_new_tv. Once I did that, all loaded perfect. Not sure why they aren't loading with pdoResources, but will find out soon.

Unable to find any documentation for pdoTools in the MODx docs. Will revert back to getResources, and search again later today.
