So I’ve got a site running on MODx 0.9.6.1p2 with WebLogin 1.0 running...

When the person who logins on the front end of the site (not a site manager) using the WebLogin snippet then logs out of the "private" area, when they return back to the main login screen where the WebLogin snippet is, there is this message:

    "You’re already logged in
    Do you wish to Logout?"

Is there anyway to remove that message and just simply have the login form every time? That way everytime they leave the login area, they have to log back in. I think it’s a bit confusing to my client and their users when they see that message. I know they simply have to click "Logout" on "Do you wish to Logout?", but it’s a group of users that are not that tech savvy and even that throws them off a bit.

Currently the document is uncached and here is the snippet call:

    [!WebLogin? &tpl=`FormLogin` &loginhomeid=`53`!]
    Thanks!

I’m pretty sure there’s a logout ID parameter...
&logouttext: Text to be displayed inside logout link (for built-in form)

You could try that, or set up a Logged Out page and do &logouthomeid

      Yes?

        Thanks Brett for your response.

I may not have explained the exact thing I’m trying to achieve and/or I might be misreading your response wink

What I need to do is remove logout text altogether and just only have the login form show up every time. In other words there would never be a logout link in the place of the login form as there is now. Does that make sense?

I have a "logout link" in the private area, but that just simply directs them to a page that is not in the private area. But should they go from that page to the login form, the form is not there but instead the logout text saying:

        "You’re already logged in
        Do you wish to Logout?"

It’s just that every time the person leaves the private area to go to another part of the site, a part that is not private and then wishes to return to the private area, they have to go through the login page which contains the login form. When landing on the login page, they have that "You’re already logged in. Do you wish to Logout?" message which adds another step to them logging back in. B/c at that point they click "Logout" and then they have to enter their login information. It just seems like it’s adding an extra step.

Turns out I was approaching the problem in the wrong way. Isn’t that always the case though. laugh

So basically what I did was create a weblink in the navigation to the membership homepage. When someone clicked on the weblink and they weren’t logged in, they were taken to the unauthorized page. There they simply entered their username and password. Upon leaving the membership area and going to different parts of the site, when the clicked in the navigation to go to the membership area, they were automatically logged in and didn’t have to go to the unauthorized page (obviously) b/c they were still logged in. Duh! smiley
