    Hi,

I need to be able to manage couple of sites from one manager (one database). Everything is quite easy to do but...

My cocuments tree look like this:

    1. domains
    a. example.com
    - home_page_example.com
    b. example1.com
    - home_page_example1.com
    2. common
    a. home_page
    b. 404error
    c. offline

    1. there could be only one home page set through configuration panel. I tried setting it to 2a (from above tree) page containing rules to overwrite header location but it didin’t work. It should check from what url client comes and take him into correct document (ex. from example.com -> home_page_example.com, from example1.com -> home_page_example1.com)

    2. the same should work for other (404error, offline)

The rest could be be divided with startId in wayfinder.

I would be gratefull for any piece of help smiley

    Regards,

    Mike

I don’t think it would be that easy to do. You’re likely looking at modifying the parser in some way, and maybe helping it along with some modifications to the mod_rewrite rules in .htaccess. The current MODx 0.9.6.x paradigm is very much "1 manager = 1 site", so another way of looking at what you’re trying to do is have 1 MODx web site, with 2 different web site "views" running.
      Interesting challenge.
