Revo 2.3.3
Tiny 4.3.3
NP 2.0.2
For the Manager RTE I use CKEditor as specified in the System Settings. On the front-end (with NewsPublisher) it’s TinyMCE. When using the above setting the Tiny file browser (front-end) is blank, everything else appears to work ok. However, if I change the System Setting to TinyMCE (instead of CKEditor) the Tiny file browser works as expected up-front.
I do not want to use Tiny as the Manager RTE. Is this really my only option if I want to use the Tiny file browser on the front-end?

Try putting this in the NP tag:
Hmmm, no change.
I was using &whichEditor=`TinyMCE`. Is that wrong?
Todd
Yes, it's wrong:
http://bobsguides.com/newspublisher-tutorial.html#np_propertiesTable.
This is the code that checks it:
$this->modx->getOption('which_editor', $this->props,'TinyMCE');
Curious. I don’t where the hell I got it from then.
In any case the problem persists. I suppose I'll just have to start using Tiny in the Manager.
Todd
Do you have the latest version of NewsPublisher (2.0.2)?
Are you including these in your tag:
&initrte=`1`
&rtcontent=`1`
See if you have this exact line around line 502 of the newspublisher class file:
$whichEditor = $this->modx->getOption('which_editor', $this->props,'TinyMCE');
Yep, everything is current and checks out.
Todd
Sorry, I know that's working for others. I don't know why it doesn't for you.
You might paste your entire NP tag here. Maybe we can see something wrong.
Try using the default textareatpl (just remove the &textareatpl property and clear the cache). It betting it will solve the problem.
If it does, compare your textareatpl to the default one, with particular attention to the classes.
