It seems that if we use &submitVar parameter in FormIt call and then submit our form via JS (e.g $('#myform').submit() ), FormIt will never run. I suppose it's because of misssing submitVar name in the $_POST. So is there any way of passing proper submitVar when submittin via JS?

That seems odd to me. AFAIK, as long as the submit button is inside the form, submit() should leave all the $_POST variables set.
I was totally sure it should, but still can't make FormIt to process JS-submitted form. Pretty strange.
