how to create | seperated links with wayfinder

Hello,

I am trying to create a list of links that are seperated by the pipe |

If I edit the template so that I have a pipe after each link, my links look like:


item 1 | item 2 | item 3 |

I want to get rid of the last pipe, but I don’t see any easy way of doing this.

Any help?

Use a last class and hide the pipe via CSS, or use a custom last template chunk.

how would I do a custom last template chunk? I did not see this in the docs.

Wrap the pipe character in a span tag and use CSS to make it invisible.

I know this is way old but I had to say thanks to Ryan for posting his solution. Some of us are a little less creative and we have to have these little brilliant methods of doing web design pointed out to us.

I use css left or right borders instead of text pipes.
Put border 0 for the last or first item
