Hello modxers.
I have a question about a website based on sports-news using articles module.
I have a jquery slider for recommended articles and I want to choose which articles want to play and the specific position (7 positions). Is there any module/snippet or any similar that I can use for this?
Thanks a lot

MIGX can do this if you wanted to do manual inputs for output (drag and drop sorting available), or you could add a select TV (set like this: First==1||Second==2||Third==3) to the articles and use getResources for the slider with &sortBy with a TV filter. Or better yet, just use &sortby=`FIELD(modResource.id, 4,7,2,5,1 )` and select the ids that you want to show in the slider.
As always, with MODX there are a number of ways to get the same result, it's your preference.
This is what i was thinking about. to do something with migx. lets say i have dropdown TV name SLIDER with values YES||NO.
This working well but i can fetch the latest 7 articles with the value YES.
Is there any chance that migx can query the latest 10 lets say, so i can drag and drop to sort witch 7 i want to play in my slider??
I think, I would use Collections, not Articles (not sure, if its possible to sort the menuindex with articles by drag/drop and other reasons, why I prefer Collections over articles).
Its possible to drag/drop the Ressources in the grid, which will change the menuindex (if the collection is sorted by menuindex)
Then just sort getResources (or pdoResources) by menuindex and limit to 7
