Answered view_offline permission

My user group has the view_offline permission and the system setting site_status is set to "No".
My user group can't view any pages on either context when the site is offline.
If I set the site_status to yes then they can view everything perfectly of course.

Yes, the user group is assigned to both contexts.
Also I just noticed, the admin can't see the front end contexts when the site is offline either.
Admin group is also assigned to both contexts.

Thought it might have been a cookie issue but I've tried multiple browsers and computers.

I've never tested that, but it's starting to sound like a bug.

What happens if you're a sudo user?

Hi Bob, just tried making a user sudo. The same thing is still happening.
If this is a bug, how does one go about reporting it?

A quick update. It's now working on the web context but not on my second context. I didn't change anything that I'm aware of.

Both my contexts have the same user groups assigned.

Cheers for the help! I tried manually deleting the contents of the cache folder and it appears to now be working. Thanks again.
