Answered Getting errors from Extra even after uninstalling...

So on this new site build using MODX 2.3.2 (which is not quite live yet), I tried out several translation/multilingual extras before deciding to go with Lingua. One of those extras was Translations (http://modx.com/extras/package/translations ... which I now notice is pretty old).

I have long since uninstalled and removed the package, but I am still getting the following output in the error log every time a page loads in the front end OR the manager.



I have poked around a bit, but am at a loss as to what is generating this error! I have reinstalled MODX (over existing files) and rerun setup, but that didn't affect anything. If I reinstall the Translations extra, the error goes away, but as soon as I uninstall the error comes right back.

I'm assuming some vestige of the extra is getting left behind somewhere, but I don't even know where to start looking. Any ideas out there?

Check your plugins.

Also, delete all files in the core/cache directory. Plugins can get stuck there and continue to execute even after the package is uninstalled.

I already double-checked the plugins to make sure nothing got left there. I manually deleted cache folder (again), and I'm still getting the error. Even just hitting the Refresh button on the error log page will generate the error.

Glad I could help. It's the responsibility of package author's who call registerExtensionPackage() during installation to call removeExtensionPackage() on uninstall, but some author's don't know that.
