Greetings,
I’ve been using MODx exclusively for my client’s CMS for quite awhile now and I really want to help give back to the community as this CMS has enabled me to take my own business to a whole new level. My challenge is that barely know any PHP (yet) but I really enjoy doing video tutorials for my clients and other companies (i.e. FoxyCart). If I were to bring this asset to the MODx community, would it be helpful? I guess I was thinking more basic stuff for beginners just starting out. I figured something like this could be helpful to help them get their minds around the foundational components of MODx. Would this be useful for the MODx community? I can’t promise I would be cranking them out rapidly, but I’ll do my best to produce quality tutorials to help serve as a springboard for those trying to figure out MODx. I guess my only concern is the release of .097 ... would tutorials produced on .0962 be obsolete after .097 come out? Will there be that big of a change in the way MODx works that I would have to scrap the older tutorials?
Any thoughts?

Oh yes! bring it on Flinx. Just browse through the forum and you’ll realise how tut. videos would really be great and useful, even if just for beginners.
As for if 0.96 is going to be obsolete, the posts I have read by OpenGeek and Ryan clearly stated that 0.96 is going to be around for a while yet....it ain’t going away that fast.
So, by all means, videos will be a great addition to the community. Thanks.

Yes, just look at
these video (the only one I have found so far), it’s just great.
I think, thererfor I am! But what I am, and why...?
I think there are 2 separate audiences that could benefit. One is web professionals building sites with MODx, and the other are the _clients_ of those web professionals.
For the second audience, I’d love to see a screencast showing how to reorder menu items using the Doc Manager. That’s the one thing I have trouble communicating to our clients in an easy-to-understand manner (if only because you have to click on the top nav, click on the top subnav, click on the right tab, click on the text of the appropriate parent (but not the icon or the plus/minus), click the "go", etc.).
Not sure that’s what you’re going after, but I think that could be very useful to the community as well. Easy screencasts for everybody’s clients. It’d save everybody the time of having to teach and re-teach client after client how to do basic things in MODx.
