paas2.ams.modxcloud.com has been down now for 6 hours due to 2 disk failures.
The status page has been kept up to date (
http://status.modxcloud.com/incidents/zld8nr77nkr5 ) but as a company based in Europe with our primary audience in the UK, I chose to host all our sites in Amsterdam with the downside that all our sites has been impacted by this outage.
Clearly I need to think about hosting across multiple sites rather than on a single site.
Are there any plans to add functionality to modxcloud to help in this regard like having the ability to fail over to other data centres?
Also the incident was raised on a disk failures that needed immediate replacement -- can more issues be deal with during the maintenance cycle?
