    Hi Guys,
New to cachemaster and it doesnt seem to be working.
I call my templates using the include snippet e.g.
    [[include? &file=`assets/templates/index.php`]]

Say I have 2 pages Home and About

Home - uncached it has 10 queries and cached it has 1 if
     <meta name="generator" content="Query time: [^qt^] ([^q^] Queries) // Parse time: [^p^] // Total time: [^t^] // Source: [^s^]">
    is correct
About - uncached it has 12 queries and cached it has 1

Lets say CacheMaster is installed and both Home and About are currently cached and use 1 query. If I update Home and navigate to About and View source it states I am making 12 queries again instead of 1 implying that the entire site cache has been cleared and not just that of the Home page. I use the default settings in Cache Master properties and the Empty Cache checkbox is checked by default on all my resources.

Am I missing something? I'm also hosted on modxcloud.com

    Thanks

Double check the uncheckEmptyCache property of CacheMaster. It should be set to 'Yes'. That checkbox should not be checked for resources.

FYI, the best way to see what CacheMaster is doing is to look at the core/cache directory in cPanel's file manager at various points in the process.

Hi,uncheckEmptyCache Is set to yes. If I open my Home resource for edit I see that in Settings the Empty Cache is checked/ticked. Should I manually uncheck it or should uncheckEmptyCache property already be doing it automatically. Is that the intention?
        Thanks

CacheMaster should be unchecking the box for you, but doing it manually should have the same effect. It's done with JS so you might try it from an incognito window.

Hmmm ya I think I have some setting in Revo or on the server that must be interfering with JS. It also impacts being able to delete multiple Article Extra articles in the listing page too. Any idea what might cause the JS not to work to untick Empty Cache? Ive tried 3 hosts and the JS behaves ever so slightly different in the manager. Server setting , htaccess, Modx System Setting?
            Thanks

I'm afraid those error don't look familiar to me, and I can't think of anything that would cause them.

Hi, I disabled a redirector extra to clear the above but the issues with cachemaster persists. Empty Cache checkbox always checked on the resource I edit. Has it been tested on Revo 2.3.2?
I'm trying with Chrome, FF and IE and different hosts too like ModxCloud and Linode.
Is there an alternative to CacheMaster as I dont want all my 200 pages uncached after each edit.
No luck with incognito window either. See attached screenshots
Thanks [ed. note: howster last edited this post 11 years, 8 months ago.]

Yes, and I just tested it again in 2.3.2 on MODX cloud -- works fine.

Are you sure the plugin is not disabled?

Exactly right Bob! Never knew I had to specifically activate it. Other plugins seem to activate automatically. Fantastic!
Is there a way now to bulk cache pages smiley i.e. put hundreds of pages into cache without having to click each link.
Thanks! [ed. note: howster last edited this post 11 years, 8 months ago.]
