Linking between contexts that have different domain names

I have 2 contexts, each with it's own top level domain.

What's the recommended way to link to a page on the alternate context?

Obviously linking to a resource using the [[~1]] tag doesn't work since it tries to load the current domain and gives a 503 error.

actually, if you have the right settings filled in for each context, [[~1]] should render the url with the domain correctly.

In each context, make sure you have filled in a value for the following:

base_url
http_host
site_start
site_url

If you don't set all 4 of those in each context, it will default to the "web" context settings, which are defined in your config.inc.php.
