    Hi everyone,

I have an issue with MIGX (2.9.0). Over the weekend, the site I worked on had a weird bug which caused the site to appear in an overlay (pop-up dialog box) when I try to Load Grid in pages that use MIGX, or view the MIGX component.

After doing a rollback, I'm now receiving this error:

"Fatal error: Call to undefined method Migx::getXpdoInstanceAndAddPackage() in /XXXX/core/cache/includes/elements/modsnippet/30.include.cache.php on line 49"

XXXX is the file path in the FTP server.

If anyone has any idea what might be an issue, it'll be greatly appreciated. I'll try to provide as much information if necessary. Thank you!

UPDATE: I tried doing another rollback with the database and I've received this error (upon inspecting the console in Chrome):

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) - http://XXXX/assets/components/migx/connector.php

But upon inspection, the file does exist in the server. Tried changing the permissions but it did not seem to fix it.

      Try uninstalling and re-installing MIGx.

Hi sottwell, thanks for the reply. I actually tried installing MODX and MIGX (completely fresh, without adding any resources) into a different folder (within the same server), and it seems like the error is the same.

Would this be a server-side issue then?

Is this only on the front-end, or also in the back-end?

The issue is mainly back-end. Front-end has no issues.

Issue has been resolved: Apparently the service provider did some security policy update on the server and it affected MIGX. So it seems that the error is caused by some security/permissions issues.

Those can be nasty bugs to track down, especially since hosting providers are so often very uncommunicative about doing ... stuff to the server.
