I am trying to install Modx on my home web server, but I have no ftp server on it.
Where can I find the last official release in .tar.gz format and how can I download it using the wget command?

P.S. Any suggestions on choosing an ftp server to install on a Debian system? (ProFTPd, vsftpd, wu-ftpd ...)
