    Hello,

I have had modx installed and working perfectly for some time now. Whilst developing the site I put an htaccess restriction on the root directory. Once the site was ready for launch I removed the htacess and all seemed to be working fine. I have just noticed however that only the home page is being displayed. All the other pages throughout the site are coming up with a 404 error.

I have page alias enabled which was all working however the 404 error is coming up whether I use the alias or the id number in the url. Also I have a page designated to be displayed for 404 errors however this is not coming up, just the standard browser warning screen.

I have put the htaccess back on the directory however the problem is still occuring? Any ideas why this has happened and how I could possibly fix it?

    In anticipation!

    Tim

I am stupid. Worked it out. In removing the htaccess password protection i also removed the .htaccess file required to make the friendly URLS work. Reuploaded and all fixed.

      Sorry for dumb post!
