Error reporting doesn't seem to work

    If I have a syntax error in a snippet, all I get is a blank page. I tried turning error reporting on this way:
    error_reporting(E_ALL);

    but it didn’t work. I checked the MODx config but didn’t find anything that looked like what I needed. Any ideas?
