Hi everyone! I've encountered a strange bug recently. I have installed modx on a server and made some general preparations (like installing GetResources, Wayfinder, TinyMCE etc). All plugins are common and i'm shure they work just fine and don't cause any problems. But from the very beginning, just after i have installed modx it was running slowly. Sometimes the response from server took about 20 sec. I though it could be a server issue. I made a debug template in modx and realized that modx internal processes are running pretty fast: a page was generated in 0.5sec or less. But i was still waiting for the page to appear for about 20 sec. I have contacted server tech support, they made a research and answered that something is trying to load
http://wpad/wpad.dat url and this causes server to wait for this url to load before loading a requested modx resource and this causes a timeout because server can not get a response from that url. Tech support suggested that it is a modx bug, but I have never encountered anything like this before while using modx in other projects. And by the way, im using Modx revo 2.3.2. Tech support said they are using CentOS 6 + ISPConfig(LAMP), and Apache. That's all i know for now. Any ideas about what is really going? Is it a server problem or i made something wrong with modx?
