    Hi All

If this has been answered somewhere already I do apologise, but I’ve searched and searched and haven’t found anything to help yet, so....

I’ve installed MODx, run the installation successfully, and logged in to the Manager area.

However, I’m not getting anything showing up for my actual ’homepage’. If I view the source, it is a HTML page, with a header and body etc, but there’s no content.

According to the tutorial on www.modxhost.com, I should see a ’standard’ homepage. But I don’t. Am I missing something?

Here’s my specs incase they’re needed:

    Apache version 1.3.39 (Unix)
    PHP version 4.4.7
    MySQL version 4.1.22-standard
    Architecture i686
    Operating system Linux

    The URL is http://host.qsoftdns.net/~pedivin/

Also, I’m getting an error message in the Manager - if I try and edit a document the TinyMCE doesn’t work and I get this at the bottom:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function getTinyMCELang() in /home/pedivin/public_html/manager/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php(745) : eval()’d code on line 42

Turn of friendly URLs if they’re on and rename the .htaccess file to something else to see if it’s due to that.

Tried both things and still the same problem.

When I clear the cache it says this:

        0 documents were published.
        0 documents were unpublished.
Cache: Found 3 files in cache directory and deleted 0 cache files.
New cache files will be created when pages are requested.

Should it be publishing some documents?

Did you install the demo data during the installation? If not you will need to create documents and a template to get started.

I’m giving up on this - just installed SilverStripe instead and it’s working like a charm...
